This is such a special season, and I love maternity and baby sessions as a way to celebrate your family right now before everything changes in the best way. Whether you’re becoming a family of three or adding to your growing clan, these sessions are about connection, love, and real moments.
Sessions are relaxed, fun, and natural. If we’re outdoors, we’ll move around to make the most of beautiful light and varied backdrops. Outfit changes are welcome if time allows. If older siblings are joining, there’s no need to worry about smiles. I’ll take the lead and help everyone feel comfortable and at ease.
For in-home and newborn sessions, we’ll move at your baby’s pace, with plenty of time for feeding, changing, and snuggles. Some of the sweetest images often happen in those quiet, in-between moments.
Please be ready on time, as sessions are scheduled around the best natural light, especially for sunset and in-home sessions. Most of all, come as you are, no Pinterest perfection needed. The most beautiful photos happen when you’re relaxed and being yourselves.

In Home Newborn Session
During the session, we’ll focus on capturing those tender moments and sweet details. The tiny fingers, gentle yawns, and the way your baby fits perfectly in your arms. We’ll also include beautiful family interactions, whether it’s cuddles with siblings, shared glances between parents, or little moments that highlight the joy of your growing family.

Studio Newborn Session
In our cozy studio, we create a warm and comfortable environment, perfect for your baby to feel safe and relaxed. We have a variety of props, blankets, and backdrops to choose from, allowing us to customize the session to your style and preferences. Whether you envision soft pastels, earthy tones, or vibrant colors, we’ll work together to create the perfect setting for your newborn's first portraits.

HOW LONG IS THE PHOTO SHOOT?
Maternity sessions are usually one hour... However, we allow two hours for each so there is no rush. Studio Newborn Sessions are 45 minutes and Lifestyle Newborn Sessions, I allow three hours, leaving plenty of time for feeding and settling throughout.
CAN YOU DO THOSE NUDE CURLED UP NEWBORN SHOTS?
We will mix in some photos of baby on their own, but Lifestyle sessions focus on a day in the life of your new family
WHAT IF THE WEATHER GODS AREN'T ON OUR SIDE?
If it is wet and soggy, we will reschedule. If it is hot, we will find some shade. If it is overcast but dry, we will go ahead as some of my favorite sessions have taken place on cloudy days.
WHAT SHOULD WE BRING? (ON LOCATION)
Treats for the kiddies (bribery perhaps?), a beautiful blanket, water, your little ones favorite toy..... a relaxed and positive vibe.
CAN OUR BELOVED DOG BE INVOLVED?
Absolutely! Fur babies are most welcome. If you bring your pup along on location, make sure they get some brisk exercise before coming. This will allow for a (hopefully) slightly calmer canine during your shoot. You can also bring along a friend to hold your pup while getting photos without them.
WHAT IF WE ARE SICK?
If you’re sick, we reschedule! Simple as that. Working with children I have come to expect that last minute texts or calls will occasionally happen. We want this to be a 1000% positive experience, so there’s no need to force it if anyone is unwell.
HOW AND WHEN DO WE GET OUR PHOTOS?
Approximately 3 weeks after your session your photos will be available for viewing, downloading and ordering via your own private online gallery. You will be provided with a link and pin and select the images to be printed for your included package and any extras you may wish to purchase. Once your order is placed I will send you a confirmation email.
